At our house, plastic Easter eggs get used long past Easter. In years past we have used them to make sound shakers and to make alphabet games. This year, I put a dozen plastic Easter eggs into an empty egg carton, and Baby B is having a lot of fun taking them in and out.
He is also enjoying putting the eggs in and out of a small basket he got for Easter.
The eggs fit great into his hands, are not chokeable or breakable, roll around on our hardwood floors, and are brightly colored, making them the perfect toy for an 11-month-old!
