Super Summer Swap

We participated in the Super Summer Swap this year, and both the kids' packages arrived this week! Super Summer Swap is hosted by Life of a Dairy Queen and Superheroes and Princesses.

This swap paired my two with other kiddos close in age. M was matched with a little girl from New Jersey and J was matched with a boy from Louisiana.

Both kids received such wonderful packages. J’s included so many wonderful soccer and craft items, a favorite of his swap partner, and a very creative lapbook all about the boy he swapped with. He already made the 3-D wolf puzzle that was included and loved it.M received so many wonderful items, including some crafts we will be definitely be making this week. Her favorite was the Elmo coloring book (M loves all things Elmo and Abby related). I loved the mini felt board and felt hair tie that Kim made so much I had to take a separate picture. If you haven’t checked out her blog at 4 Crazy Kings you need to do so, she is a former high school art teacher and so talented!!We had so much fun and hope to get to do this again next year.

  5. I'm so glad J's package made it okay.
We were scrambling trying to get that lapbook made and the box in the mail before Elijah's surgery.

Thanks for Elijah's package too. We are going to use that Greece book when we study Ancient Greece this year.

I plan to have Elijah write to J soon.

    Thanks
